About Code Joy Academy

Our Story
Code Joy Academy was founded with a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves access to joyful, high-quality education — regardless of where they are in the world.
Based in Nairobi, Kenya, we started as a small tutoring initiative and grew into an online school. Today we offer Cambridge homeschooling for primary and secondary learners, live coding, Kiswahili, French, music and art classes, and tutoring across Cambridge, Edexcel, CBC and 8-4-4. Families in Kenya and abroad learn with us, and international students are welcome.
Every learner has an account on the Code Joy learning platform, where teachers record progress, and parents receive a monthly progress report showing what their child covered, how they are doing and what comes next.
Our name reflects our core philosophy — learning should bring joy. When students feel supported, challenged, and inspired, they don't just pass exams; they develop a lifelong love of learning.
